SHAH ALAM: Galven Green carded a second successive five-under 67 to seize a one-shot lead into the final round of the Corolla Cross Cup, priming himself for back-to-back victories on the Toyota Tour.

Galven, who won the season-opening Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy in February, struck his second straight eagle at the par-five 11th and complemented it with five birdies at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club to reach the 36-hole mark on 10-under 132.

Although dropping two bogeys, Galven's effort was enough to hand him a one-shot advantage over Nicholas Fung, who also signed for 67 to finish solo second after trading seven birdies against two bogeys.

Veteran Sukree Othman posted a 68 to sit in lone third on seven-under, one ahead of Daeng Abdul Rahman Abdul Aziz and Paul San who shared fourth place following their matching 69s.

Overnight leader Kenneth De Silva dropped to tied 11th after battling to a 76 to trail Galven by eight shots.

Galven has refused to get carried away just yet despite the prospect of making it a third win in four starts on the domestic circuit.

He was also the winner of the Alphard Cup, the penultimate leg of last season.

"It was good, I struggled off the tee a little bit, but overall I got my iron shots in play and gave myself looks at chances and fortunate enough to make some putts," said Galven.

"(Prospect of multiple wins) It's a nice thing but I can't think of that yet with many of them not too far back and they're all tough competitors."
