KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have listed Malaysia's 3-3 draw with South Korea as one of six best group stage matches at the ongoing Asian Cup in Qatar.

AFC selected the Group E match alongside Iraq's 2-1 upset win over Japan, Saudi Arabia's 2-1 victory over Oman, Japan's 4-2 win over Vietnam, Indonesia's 1-0 defeat of Vietnam and Tajikistan's 2-1 win over Lebanon.

AFC dubbed the Malaysia-South Korea encounter a "rollercoaster" which had fans on the edge of their seats.

"A late 1-0 loss to Bahrain on matchday two had eliminated Malaysia with a game to spare but the Southeast Asians went into the game with Korea Republic looking to bow out of their first continental competition since 2007 on a high," said AFC on their website on Friday.

"What followed was a rollercoaster of a game which their supporters will talk about for years to come."

AFC asked fans to vote for their favourite match on their website. Voting ends later today.

As of 12pm today, the Malaysia-South Korea match leads with 77 per cent of the votes followed by Vietnam-Indonesia (19 per cent).
