DOHA: FAM president, Datuk Hamidin Amin, was left with the task of rallying his men following the devastating 4-0 loss to Jordan in their Asian Cup Group E opener on Monday.

Hamidin had a closed door meeting with the players at a hotel in Doha on Wednesday.

He gave a motivational talk to coach Kim Pan Gon and the 26 players.

Hamidin called on them to bounce back against world No. 86 Bahrain on Saturday.

"The players have promised to make a comeback against Bahrain, to get at least one point from the match," said Hamidin.

"I hope the players will put up a strong challenge against Bahrain, and hopefully they will give a good performance.

"Let's all pray for their success this Saturday."
