KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu's Adisak Kraisorn and Ivan Mamut have fired blanks so far in the Super League, and coach Tomislav Steinbruckner is losing patience.
Terengganu do not have problems creating chances for Adisak and Mamut, but both strikers have failed to find the net.
The Turtles are the only team in the Super League yet to score a goal this season and are winless after three games.
On Sunday, Terengganu were held 0-0 by KL City at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium in Gong Badak. The City Boys are also winless but have two points from three games.
It does not augur well for Terengganu, who will represent the country in the AFC Cup,
Terengganu coach Tomislav Steinbruckner suggested that changes are imminent following their poor run.
"We created a few chances but were wasted by Adisak. We also had a few free kicks but did not score. It is a problem as we have not scored this season," said Steinbruckner after the match.
"Hopefully, we will have Habib Haroon back from a hamstring injury. The midfielder started training yesterday, and I hope he will be ready for our next game.
"Strikers Adisak and Mamut are just not scoring goals. We will consider Jordan Mintah for our next game."
Terengganu will host Police in their next game on Saturday.
Despite not recording a win yet, KL coach Bojan Hodak was pleased with the result.
"It is an away game, and a point is a decent result. Not many teams earn points in Kuala Terengganu.
"I am happy that our striker Kipre Tchetche played late in the second half after missing our last game against Johor Darul Ta'zim due to injury.
KL will host Negri Sembilan on Saturday and travel to Kota Baru to take on Kelantan on March 17.
"Hopefully, we will regain our winning ways when we play Negri and Kelantan," he added.
