KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu, the next best team in the Super League last season after JDT, are struggling this year.

The East coast side drew 0-0 with Kuala Lumpur City tonight, a result that saw them languishing second from last in the table.

Despite playing at their home ground, the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, for the first time this season, Terengganu were toothless in attack.

Though having much ball possession, Terengganu hardly troubled KL keeper Kevin Ray Mendoza.

Still missing the services of Habib Haroon, the Turtles lacked the cutting edge in attack while the performances of Adisak Kraisorn and Ivan Mamut left much to be desired.

Meanwhile in Kota Bahru, Kelantan finally got going in the Super League with a convincing 2-0 win over Penang for their first points of the season.

The well-deserved win was achieved through two first half goals from Ismaheel Akinade (23rd minute) and Fazrul Amir (37th). This also inflicted on Penang their first loss of the season.

The match was played under the floodlights at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium for the first time this season.

The win lifted Kelantan up to seventh in the standings with Penang a further three spots back.
