KUALA LUMPUR: A wounded Selangor are eager to bounce back from last week's embarrassing defeat to Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) when they entertain Sabah in a Super League match at MBPJ Stadium on Tuesday.

The 5-1 defeat on Friday to the reigning champions came just days after Selangor hammered Sarawak United 7-0.

Selangor coach Michael Feichtenbeiner is keen to see his charges respond positively in tomorrow's match.

"The players were upset after the JDT defeat. We had to support them mentally in the last few days. I hope they will recover and do well tomorrow," said Feichtenbeiner.

"We have to bounce back from that defeat. I hope we can continue our unbeaten run at home against PJ City. I believe we can extend it to five matches."

Feichtenbeiner declined to comment whether he will be resting error-prone goalkeeper Khairulazhan Khalid and pick Samuel Somerville instead.

"Sorry, I do not discuss my line-ups in public. I only discuss this with my coaching staff," he added.

Selangor, however, have to reshuffle their line-up as Harith Haiqal Adam Afkar, Shahrel Fikri Fauzi, Halim Saari and R. Dinesh are doubtful.

In the last meeting between both teams, the Red Giants hammered the Rhinos 6-0 in September last year. Selangor are sixth in the standings with 11 points after seven matches, while Sabah are third on 18.

Meanwhile, PJ City hope to avoid a thrashing when they take on JDT at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Tuesday.

PJ City coach P. Maniam revealed that national striker Darren Lok will be available after serving out a suspension.

"Defender K. Prabakaran and Darren will be in the first XI. We are ready to face JDT. Of course, the target is not to concede early goals," said Maniam.

"I think we have been doing decently this season, so we are hoping for something good at JDT. We will give our 100 per cent, although we know we are at a disadvantage without foreign players."

JDT lead the standings with 19 points, while PJ City (nine points) are ninth.
