KUALA LUMPUR: The Kedah Darul Aman Fan Club (KEPDA) fully support Kedah FA president Sanusi Md Noor's move to hand over the daily running of football in the state to experts.

KEPDA president Nor Hasmadi Hamzah said they respect the stand taken by Sanusi, which is seen as a move leading to the progress of the Kedah team.

"We respect Sanusi's decision to take Kedah football to a higher level, and his intention to step back must not be misunderstood by fans.

"We believe Sanusi's plan is on the right track as our league has been privatised, and now every team need a highly skilled individual to steer their football.

"As loyal Kedah fans, we support this move," said Nor Hasmadi.

KEPDA also feel that Kedah is not short of qualified people who can take them to a level that the state was at when the late Ahmad Basri was running the show.

"The privatisation effort is a good move because Kedah does not lack

qualified people in football to lead this revolution.

"We hope the glory days of Kedah will return if it is run by a professional person."
