KEDAH aim to maintain their winning ways in the Super League by beating PJ City FC at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Star today.

The Red Eagles, who are fourth with seven points, defeated Selangor (2-0) and Police (2-0) in their last two matches.

Aidil Sharin Sahak's side have one of the best defensive records in the Super League. They have not let in a goal since the 1-1 draw against UiTM FC on March 11.

"PJ City are workaholics and are a disciplined side. Furthermore, they have quality players in all departments. It will be a tough match," said Aidil.

"Although PJ City are 10th with just five points, they are a difficult team to beat.

"However, we are motivated after recording back-to-back wins. It shows that we have the depth to trouble the best teams in the competition.

"I hope we will continue our streak and earn three more points. We need to record as many wins in our remaining six matches to finish in the top half of the league."

The team's impressive run in the league is rather surprising as their players have yet to receive their salary arrears.

Kedah will be banking on their leading scorers, Kipre Tchetche and Kpah Sherman, who have scored six goals between them, in today's match.
