KEDAH's Singaporean coach Aidil Sharin Sahak is ready to return to Alor Star and prepare his team during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) for the M-League restart.

Aidil, who returned home in March, is awaiting approval from the Immigration Department of Malaysia to cross the border.

"I am eager and excited to join my team in Alor Star.

"The Kedah FA (KFA) have applied for my return through the Immigration Department in Putrajaya.

"I have packed my bags and will head to Alor Star once I receive the approval," he said yesterday.

Aidil said being away from his team for more than three months is an experience he would remember for a long time.

"Throughout my career, I have never 'rested' from my coaching duties for so long.

"I had to adapt to the new normal by monitoring my players' fitness from Singapore.

"Thank God, the signs are that the Covid-19 pandemic will be beaten soon and that things will return to normal again.

"I will focus on getting my players back into shape when I return to Alor Star," he added.

The Red Eagles are seventh in the Super League with four points after four matches.

The M-League is expected to resume in August or September.
