RED EAGLES coach Aidil Sharin Sahak is worried that the non-payment of salaries to his players will affect Kedah's performance when the Super League restarts.

The Super League and Premier League will likely recommence in September.

It is understood that the Kedah FA (KFA) owe their players around RM2 million in salaries.

"My players and I are getting worried about the non-payment of salaries," said Aidil, who is currently in Singapore.

"I hope this issue will be resolved as soon as possible as my players' morale is low.

"And if the salary issue drags on, it would be difficult for me to motivate my players when the season restarts."

The Singapore-born coach, however, is confident that new Kedah Menteri Besar Sanusi Md Nor will find a solution.

"I am applying to the Malaysian embassy in Singapore for clearance to travel to Kedah.

"I am eager to meet my players, and to check on their condition. They need to be at their best when we restart field training," said Aidil.

The FA of Malaysia (FAM) hope the government will allow M-League teams to restart training by August.

Aidil, however, will be quarantined for 14 days, a Health Ministry requirement, when he crosses over from Singapore.
