KUALA LUMPUR: Lee Zii Jia should have no problems clearing his group stage at the Paris Games following the Olympic draw today.

The world No 7, seeded seventh, was drawn in Group G with world No. 72 Viren Nettasinghe of Sri Lanka and world No. 63 Pablo Abián of Spain

However, things could get tricky for Zii Jia in the last 16 where he is expected to face the winner of Group H which has Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia, Toma Junior Popov of France and American Howard Shu.

The draw was held at the Badminton World Federation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today.

More to come.
