KUALA LUMPUR: Women's pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah were handed a daunting Olympic draw on Friday.
Malaysia's world No. 13 were drawn with China's world No 1 duo Chen Qing Chen-Jia Yi Fan who are the top seeds at the Paris Games.
Joining Pearly-Thinaah in Group A are Japan's world No 6 Mayu Matsumoto-Wakana Nagahara and Indonesia's No. 9 Apriyani Rahayu-Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
The draw was held at the Badminton World Federation headquarters here.
