KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's challenge at the French Open came to a disappointing end today after world No. 5 Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik failed to clear their men's doubles quarter-final hurdle.

Aaron-Wooi Yik went down 21-19, 21-16 to South Korea's Kang Min Hyuk-Seo Seung Jae in a clash of past and present world champions at Arena Porte de la Chapelle in Paris.

Aaron-Wooi Yik have now lost for the third time in four encounters against the world No. 2, and this certainly does not augur well as Min Hyuk-Seung Jae are considered as major rivals at the Paris Olympics.
