KUALA LUMPUR: Golden Pavilion Group is expanding into Sabak Bernam in Selangor with a new housing project.

The property company has introduced FirstVista Residence, featuring 46 units of double-storey freehold terraced houses, starting at RM420,000.

The two-hectare project, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM20 million, is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026.

Founder Nic Kew emphasised that the launch of this nature-inspired project is timely, as Sabak Bernam is positioned to become Selangor's rising star under the state government's Sabak Bernam Development Area (SABDA) initiative.

This initiative includes plans for agricultural, fishery, and eco-tourism development to revitalize the region known for its rich agricultural heritage.

Official data indicates that agriculture, fisheries, and eco-tourism each represent one-third of SABDA. The state government has allocated about 1,200 hectares for the development of these sectors.

Kew said that the company is committed to the strategic development of shoplots to spur economic growth and community prosperity, aligning with its vision for the future of Sabak Bernam.

In line with this vision, a new phase of shoplots will soon be open for registration, he said during the launching ceremony of FirstVista Residence last week.

Golden Pavilion's future plans for Sabak Bernam include 450 residential units, commercial shoplots, and an education and sports centre.

With over 30 years of experience in property development, the company has completed more than 100 projects, including residences, commercial properties, and civil infrastructure works across the Klang Valley.

Notable projects include The Clover Homes in Semenyih and double-storey terraced houses in Batang Kali.
