Rental values and average capital growth for properties at Battersea Power Station in central London, United Kingdom (UK) have increased exponentially since it was first released in 2013, according to Sime Darby Property Bhd.

The Battersea Power Station is being redeveloped by the Malaysian consortium comprising Sime Darby Property (40 per cent), S P Setia Bhd (40 per cent), and The Employees Provident Fund (20 per cent).

The 42-acre development includes 3.5 million square feet of mixed commercial space and 4,239 new homes.

The regeneration project, which is currently estimated to cost over £9 billion, will create a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood with residences, businesses, dining establishments, offices, places of culture and recreation, and 19 acres of open space, all of which will be accessible via a London Underground Northern Line extension.

Circus West Village, the first phase of Battersea Power Station regeneration, is already home to over 1,700 residents and more than 20 bars, restaurants, cafés, and fitness and leisure facilities.

Sime Darby Property recently hosted property buyers at The International Gallery @ KLGCC Resort, keen to purchase the group's residential and commercial properties in London.

They were treated to private sneak peeks of the upcoming home releases and briefings on the London market from illustrious guests, including the fascinating developments at the Battersea Power Station.

The Battersea Power Station exhibit is housed at the International Gallery at KLGCC Resort.

Battersea Power Station is now marketing a variety of one to four-bedroom residences that are available for purchase at its completed and ongoing developments, including The Power Station, Prospect Place by Gehry Partners, and Battersea Roof Gardens by Foster + Partners.

There are 254 apartments located within The Power Station across three sections – Switch House East, Switch House West, and the Boiler House.

Utilising the existing Grade II* listed structure, select apartments are located inside The Power Station itself and feature historic brick and steelwork while three new glazed levels have been erected across the building to give additional residences.

The studio apartments within The Power Station start from £865,000.

Apartments with two bedrooms start at £1,280,000; those with three bedrooms start at £2,500,000; while townhouses with four-bedrooms start at £3,960,000.

Foster + Partners, a renowned architectural firm, designed the 232 apartments and cutting-edge amenities that make up the Battersea Roof Gardens. Additionally, residents will be able to enjoy rooftop gardens created by LDA Design and James Corner, whose previous projects include the New York High Line.

A 164-room art'otel, the brand's first hotel to operate in the UK, will complete Battersea Roof Gardens, which will offer new retail space situated on Electric Boulevard.

There are currently two-bedroom apartments starting at £1.35 million and three-bedroom apartments starting at £2.35 million available.

High-end amenities available at Prospect Place and the Battersea Roof Gardens include an 8,350 square foot private Sky Lounge, a sunset bar, workstations, a movie theatre, lounge areas, and a gym.
