SkyWorld Development Group was named the Best Employer in Malaysia 2021 by Kincentric at an award ceremony held recently.

This is the city developer's fourth award as one of the best places to work in the country.

SkyWorld deputy chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng stated that winning the award for the fourth time is the company's proudest achievement.

Lee said in a statement that the award belongs to all SkyRians who have remained true to SkyWorld's core values and helped shape the company's strong workplace culture.

He stated that the company places a high value on engaging and enriching its employees and that it strives to create an inclusive environment in the workplace where everyone can capitalise on their strengths and maximise their potential.

"We have been innovatively creating a happier and healthier workplace for our people to thrive," he said.

Lee stated that as the pandemic continues to affect individuals and businesses at all levels, businesses must maintain their sustenance in order to protect the lives and livelihoods of those who have worked hard to advocate for their brand.

According to him, SkyWorld is constantly developing strong business strategies to keep the business running and emerge stronger during the current difficult times.

"We are constantly looking for ways to encourage and motivate our people to stay united in the face of adversity," he said.

To ensure that employees are taken care of, Lee stated that there were no pay cuts during the pandemic, and bonuses were distributed twice last year.

"With that, we took care of their worries and build their confidence so they can focus and maximise their productivity," he explained.

According to him, SkyWorld currently employs 220 people.
