TA Global Berhad has unveiled Idaman Hills, its first residential project outside of the Klang Valley, in Kluang, Johor, the hometown of the company's chairman, Datuk Tony Tiah.

Its general manager, Lee Yen Foong, said that the company is ready to diversify its portfolio and bring success back to the chairman's hometown because of its strong track record in the market.

"It is our chairman's vision to construct quality, affordable, and sustainable homes that will benefit the community in Kluang and beyond," he explained.

According to Lee, Idaman Hills is one of the few developments strategically located within the Kluang town centre, offering majestic green views of Mount Lambak.

The project is situated on a 95.16-acre freehold plot of land near Mount Lambak, the green heart of the Kluang district.

It consists of six phases with 545 homes and a gross development value (GDV) of RM336 million.

According to Lee, the project is named after the success of TA Global's "Idaman" series, which represents the ideal place or home in which people aspire to live.

He said that the project's emphasis on nature and wellness is a standout feature, with 14 acres of dedicated green space.

The project is accented with invigorating landscaping, spacious parks, family-friendly facilities, and the privacy of a guarded community, taking direct inspiration from its surrounding greenery and the local community.

Residents will come across a plethora of communal green spaces and recreational parks home to a lush landscape of trees and plants.

Aspen Residences is the project's first collection, offering 66 double-story terraced houses with built-up areas starting at 2,439 sq ft.

The units are expected to be completed in 2023, according to Lee.

"We are very encouraged by the overwhelming response to Idaman Hills. Following the positive market response, we intend to launch phase two next year," he said.

The community's support, according to Lee, encourages the company to carry out its mission and fulfil its promise to society and the environment.

"We go to great lengths in every project we embark on to ensure the quality of life in our community is elevated," he said.
