KOTA BARU: Pas deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has refuted the claim that he and other party leaders received funding from Perikatan Nasional ally Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.

Tuan Ibrahim described the allegation as bizarre.

"I did not know about this claim. Me, taking money from Bersatu? That's the most absurd thing in the world.

"I have no knowledge of this claim. I will investigate this," he said at the Kelantan Pas Aidilfitri celebration today.

An audio recording in a TikTok video alleged that Tuan Ibrahim was among the first leaders from Pas to receive funds from Bersatu, besides Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.

The person behind the recording is allegedly the brother of Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

In the recording, the man claimed to have witnessed the matter.
