"My focus is certainly on the voters, especially the younger generation. I urge them to think, analyze, observe, evaluate and make a wise decision on who will be the deserving candidate to represent them.

"Looking at the voter support, the response given during the campaign period has also been positive, and I hope it can be translated into results on Saturday."

Affandi said he remains optimistic about winning the seat, despite some considering it a 'mission impossible' due to the high majority won by Pas in the previous general election.

"Nothing in life is easy, and I am here (contesting) to ensure that we take this constituency.

"The Kemaman parliamentary seat should rightfully belong to us (BN) on Dec 2, and we are working towards that goal," he said.

Affandi is in a straight fight with Terengganu Menteri Besar and Pas candidate Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.

There are 141,790 registered voters in the constituency, including 387 police personnel and nine military personnel.
