PUTRAJAYA: Perikatan Nasional (PN) has won 14 out of the 15 state seats contested in Perlis, Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh said.

With such a strong majority, he said, PN would be able to form the Perlis state government.

"As of 2am, PN has won 14 of the 15 seats and it has managed to secure more than 50 per cent majority out of all the seats contested.

"The total voter turnout for Perlis is 76.94 per cent," he said during a press conference at the EC headquarters here today.
