BERA: Barisan Nasional (BN) is confident to form a new government with the collaboration of parties in Sarawak and Sabah.

Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that they will be able to form their own government with the cooperation of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

"I hope we can cross the 112 target to have a simple majority to form a government.

"Then we will form the government tonight," he said after voting at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bandar Kerayong here today.

He arrived with his wife Datin Seri Muhaini Zainal Abidin at the voting centre at 9.20am.

Both of them casted their vote after lining up around an hour with other voters.

He also said that the decision to form a government by BN alone or by cooperation by GPS and GRS will only be decided by the party leaders.

"BN will not leave GPS and GRS to form a government," he added.
