KOTA KINABALU: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government is on the right track to implement all development plans in the state, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

In his Aidilfitri message, Hajiji who is also in charge of state finance said the Halatuju Sabah Maju Jaya has started to bear fruits as local and foreign Investors begin operating in the state.

"With the cooperation of all quarters, I am confident the objectives of Halatuju Sabah Maju Jaya can be achieved within five years," he said in a statement.

The development plans launched before the Ramadhan month focuses on three sectors namely agriculture, industrial and tourism.

It also emphasised on human capital and people's welfare, infrastructure network, and green sustainability.

In conjunction with the Hari Raya celebration, Hajiji also reminded the people to comply with the required standard operatong procedures (SOP).

"We must understand the actions carried out by the government to impose restrictions during the movement control order (MCO) or emhanced MCO.

"We must remember that the Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to celebrate festivities in a new norm to prevent spread of infection.

"Like other festivities, Aidilfitri continues to be a platform for unity and therefore let us all celebrate Aidilditri with full SOPs," he said.

Hajiji also reminded that the sacrifices by frontliners and security forces who work tirelessly to curb the pandemic and safeguard the country from security threats should not be forgotten.
