SHAH ALAM: The Sungai Kandis state seat remains with PKR after its candidate Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni secured a comfortable lead in the by-election today.
The latest unofficial number showed Mohd Zawawi leading at 61% of the votes over Barisan Nasional's Datuk Lokman Noor Adam.
Voters turnout for the Sungai Kandis by-election is estimated at 50.31 per cent.
