BAYAN LEPAS: Armed forces officers and personnel fulfilled their responsibility today by casting their votes for the 14th General Election at Royal Malay Regiment (RMR) camp here.

They were seen lining up as early as 7am for registration.

As of 9.30am, some 600 officers, personnel and their spouses had lined up to cast their ballots.

Division Two General Major General Datuk Mohd Ramli Jaafar was the first to cast his vote at 8am.

A total of 2,117 officers, personnel and their spouses were among the early voters who will cast their votes between 8am and 5pm.
