KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians are receiving accolades on social media for their commendable acts of kindness, particularly when it comes to helping strangers, including senior citizens.

TianChad Photography took to his TikTok account to share a touching incident that unfolded in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor, where a group of strangers collaborated to aid an elderly man who had fallen from his bicycle.

"Insisting on giving a helping hand even when they're chasing for time. Thank you to the Grab rider brother, foodpanda rider brother and the man in the cap who were all willing to help," he wrote.

The accompanying video captured the scene of a senior citizen sitting on the road after his bicycle mishap, with his belongings scattered.

Within moments, two compassionate individuals rushed to his aid, checking on him, gathering his fallen bicycle, and moving it to safety.

As the kind strangers gathered the elderly's belongings from the road, they not only offered support but also helped him back on his feet.

Shortly after, a food delivery rider arrived, extending further assistance.

"This uncle fell in the middle of the road, and what happened next truly touched my heart.

"It's heartening to see that Grab and foodpanda riders are often the first to lend a helping hand. God bless you guys," he wrote.

He continued, "A big thank you to all of you who were willing to help."

In response to the post, many were profoundly moved and inspired, expressing a commitment to consistently do good deeds, especially for those in need, irrespective of whether they were strangers or not.

"Thank you for extending help without considering race and religion. We are all one Malaysia, and may God bless us all," said @Uj Malar.

"Wherever you go, Malaysians stand out for their extraordinary kindness, always ready to help regardless of race. We are Malaysians," remarked @Sara Vanan.

"It's truly heartwarming to witness moments like these; there are still many genuinely kind people in our country. May Malaysia continue to uphold harmony, even in the face of politics that often divides the Malaysian people," said @Sue Azizul.
