User @CikguBoga said: "Ticket touts have been doing this for a long time. Why are they so bold in committing unauthorised acts?"

There were also a few who commented, expressing frustration about having to pay parking fees ranging from RM10 to RM25 just to take a stroll or buy meals near Bukit Bintang.

User @LynaRahman shared: "Yesterday, I just wanted to go eat shawarma, but I had to pay RM15."

Meanwhile, user @kxrmxlx said: "I have experienced this before. They asked for RM10, but I told them that I would call Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and they immediately ran away."

The New Straits Times has reached out to the relevant authorities for their comments.
