KUALA LUMPUR: A person with disabilities found himself in a drain when a section of a tactile walkway had its cover missing.

TikTok user with the handle @mrranggapnnadia shared a video displaying the tactile walkway with a missing cover and a drain underneath.

The user said she was shocked when she heard the voice message of her husband, who is visually impaired, telling her he had fallen into a hole.

"Thank God my husband said he was okay. He went to the clinic, and the doctor said there were no fractures," she said.

She requested the public's assistance to report any blocked or damaged tactile pathways to the authorities.

@mrranggapnnadia ended her message by asking for safe tactile walkways for the visually impaired.
