KUALA LUMPUR: A dashcam recording capturing the escalating frustration of a lorry driver confronted with haphazardly parked cars at a Rest and Recreation (RnR) area has recently gained widespread attention.

The video of the incident, believed to have happened northbound of Pedas Linggi RnR, Negri Sembilan, shows the lorry driver honking at several of the parked cars which blocked his route.

While some drivers promptly moved their vehicles, one individual casually approached his Perodua Alza on a pedestrian zebra crossing, seemingly unperturbed by the approaching lorry.

As soon as the lorry driver launched a scathing verbal attack against him, he slowly walked to the driver's seat and drove away.

"Do you have a brain? This is not a parking spot. People want to pass through. Can't you park somewhere else?" said the frustrated lorry driver towards the car driver.

The video went viral on @nanmanjoi8715 page on the X platform and garnered close to 400,000 views at the time of writing.

Netizens were puzzled by the cars parked by the roadside of the RnR near the toilet, which blocked the pathway of other vehicles.

"Why didn't the driver move the vehicle promptly? Is it normal for one to scold only then they will understand?" said X user Hasyir Husam.

Another X user, Michael Loh, pointed out that the cars were indeed parked at a no-parking area just metres away from the no-parking warning sign board.

"Hopefully, the police will issue them the 'love letters'.

"The evidence is strong. Up front, there are plenty of spaces to park," Michael Loh said.
