TANJUNG MALIM: A colleague of 25-year-old Sarawakian Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, who has been reported missing since yesterday, is desperately pleading for her to return home and unite with her family.

"Please return home Farah. All of us, especially your mother, are waiting for you.

"Have some compassion for your mother," said the colleague, who is a representative of a car rental services company where Farah worked part-time before her disappearance.

She added that the last time Farah had any dealings with the company was when she helped deliver a rental car to a customer at a residential area here around 8am on July 10.

"I was informed that Farah left in a red-coloured car after completing the delivery.

"We do not have information on the model or registration number of the car she left in, and it was raining that morning," she said.

She added that Farah was still reachable when she replied to a WhatsApp message from another colleague at the company at the time.

"Her last communication with the company's management representative was at 8.14am, and since then, Farah has been unreachable," she said.

She said she and the rest of the colleagues had tried to reach Farah on her mobile phone, but there was no answer, and the WhatsApp messages sent were neither replied to nor read.

She added that Farah has relatives living in Peninsular Malaysia.

"On the night of her disappearance, Farah's brother, who lives in Selangor, came to Tanjung Malim to get information and updates about his sister.

"I appeal to Farah, if you see this news... Please come home. We are all waiting for your safe return," she said.

Farah was reported missing after she did not go to work as usual. She was last seen wearing blue corporate attire, a headscarf and black trousers.

The police confirmed that they received a report on her disappearance at 1.56am yesterday.
