KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today met with the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, discussing on bilateral ties between the two countries.

"Today I received a courtesy visit from the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, Edgard D. Kagan. Through this meeting, we discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and the United States." said Anwar in a post on Facebook.

The discussion touched especially in the areas of trade and investment, as well as people-to-people relations, said Anwar.

Anwar added that the two exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest, and affirmed our commitment to enhancing comprehensive cooperation to a higher level.
