KUALA LUMPUR: More than 300 people attended the Aidilfitri open house hosted the Securities Commission in Bukit Kiara here today.

The festive atmosphere was further elevated with the esteemed presence of Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizah.

Welcoming Amir Hamzah upon his arrival was SC chairman Datuk Seri Dr Awang Adek Hussin.

Other guests of honour who attended open house included Bank Negara Malaysia governor Datuk Shaik Abdul Rasheed Abdul Ghaffour and Bursa Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar.

The event was also attended by New Straits Times group editor Farrah Naz Karim, Berita Harian deputy group editor M. Thillinadan and Media Prima Television Networks deputy group editor (news and current affairs) Azhari Muhidin and NST executive editor Sharanjit Singh.
