KOTA KINABALU: A new public healthcare facility known as the Sabah National Heart Centre will be set up following an allocation of RM80 million from the federal government.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the special block meant for cardiology cases will be set up at the main hospital in the state capital.

He said the healthcare facility will be known as the National Heart Centre Sabah.

He also announced an immediate allocation of RM80 million for the purpose.
