SUNGAI BULOH: A Form Four female student died after falling from the third floor of a secondary school in Bukit Rahman Putra here yesterday.

The 16-year-old student succumbed to severe head injuries.

Sungai Buloh police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said they received the report of the incident at 11.26am in the morning.

"Upon receiving the information, a team of police officers proceeded to the scene and found a Form Four female student had fallen from the third floor of a building in the said school," he said in a statement today.

"The body was then sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem examination," he added.

He said that the post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death as severe head injuries due to the fall from a height.

He classified the case as sudden death (SDR).

He also advised the public not to spread information that could cause distress or disturb public peace.
