Known as Cikgu Fadli, he is among the outspoken members in the teaching profession who pointed out weaknesses in the school syllabus

In October 2022, Fadhli went viral for talking about weaknesses in the school syllabus, including in primary school modules for mathematics.

He had also voiced concerns regarding the heavy weight of school bags that students had to carry, among other things.

The issue caught the attention of then Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.

His online criticism led to him being questioned by the Education Services Disciplinary Board, which later decided that he did not commit any wrongdoing.
