KLANG: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) member of parliament, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, today announced that he has never signed any statutory declaration (SD) to topple the unity government.

He said he was also never approached by any quarters over the issue.

"I've never signed any SD. To me, enough is enough. We do not need to discuss this any more and we should instead use the time we have to continue the agendas (of the unity government).

"There are various initiatives and plans being done by the unity government and state governments. I am certain that we have no plans to move backwards to undo all initiatives we have set out to do.

"We need to move forward in this time for the sake of the people," he said at a press conference here.

He was asked to comment on claims that GRS was backing efforts to topple the unity government via signed SDs.

On Sunday, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor had claimed that Perikatan Nasional (PN) had gathered enough SDs to topple the government.

Sanusi, who is also PN election director, had however declined to go into detail on the number of SDs.

He had said that everything would be revealed "in a matter of days."
