KUCHING: Jom Heboh Carnival (KJH) Segulai Sejalai Sarawak opened its curtains today, providing wholesome fun for the entire family.

The excitement was felt as early as 9am at Dataran Perayaan Petra Jaya in the Sarawak Stadium Complex, when the public began visiting the carnival site.

While various interesting activities are available at all 130 booths throughout the three-day carnival which starts today, the Dino Land booth is expected to be one of the top attractions.

For visitors wanting to experience the 'Jurassic' era, bring your family to the booth managed by The New Straits Times Press Berhad (NSTP).

It features 13 giant-sized dinosaurs, including robotic dinosaurs that will surely make your children feel as if they are in prehistoric times.

NSTP Circulation Department General Manager, M Prakash said tickets to enter Dino Land are offered at a price of only RM20 per family.

"This means that one family, regardless of the number, whether it's five people or 10 people, can enter together with just RM20. With the purchase of the RM20 ticket, visitors also have the opportunity to get a close experience and take pictures with the dinosaur collection," he said.

With the purchase of the Dino Land ticket, visitors will also receive a 'goodies bag' containing various attractive gifts. Furthermore, visitors who want to obtain interesting souvenirs such as umbrellas, T-shirts, and bags from the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 35 (ABPBH 35) can also get them as they are also sold at the NSTP booth.

"In addition, we also provide facilities for visitors to scan QR codes to register on NSTP's digital platforms such as Berita Harian, Harian Metro, and New Straits Times.

By registering on these digital platforms, the public can get the latest news online since NSTP newspapers are not distributed in Sarawak," he said.
