PUTRAJAYA: Folks living and working in Putrajaya are in for a treat as a new tram service will begin a trail run next month.
The Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART), which is a trackless smart tram will begin its trial run in conjunction with the 'Putrajaya Open Day' event. The service during this period is free.
In a post on Facebook, Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj), the local authority of the Federal Territory of Putrajaya under the Federal Territories Ministry, said the trial run is expected to continue until December.
The Putrajaya Open Day is taking place from Feb 1 - 4.
The local authority also encouraged folks in and around Putrajaya as well as members of the public not to miss out on an opportunity to try the ART.
