KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of continuous rain from tomorrow until Saturday in several areas in Pahang and Johor.

The department issued the alert level warning involving Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin in Pahang, as well as Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Baru in Johor.

Similar weather conditions are also expected to occur today (Jan 17) in Sarawak, involving Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu (Sibu), and Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro, Matu and Dalat).

MetMalaysia also issued the same warning for Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat in Sabah.

"The public can obtain information about the latest weather through the department's official website, myCuaca mobile app, and MetMalaysia's official social media platforms.

"They can also call the MetMalaysia hotline at 1-300-22-1638 for any further enquiries," it said.
