KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians are invited to join the last few days of "Piket Demi Palestin" (Picket for Palestine).

The Palestinian Solidarity Secretariat in a statement said the picket is to show collective dissent towards the United States (US) for their complicity and continued support of the blatant genocide Israel is carrying out against the people of Palestine.

For that, the secretariat is reminding the participants to use public transportation.

"This, as the parking in the vicinity of the picket site is limited and they should refrain from parking curbside as it hinders both traffic flow and pedestrians," it said, adding that tonight's programme will be a cultural night, with various performances.

In the statement, the secretariat thanked various parties including Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Dr Zaliha Mustafa, for her support from the very beginning and facilitating discussions with the relevant authorities.

" #KepungDemiPalestin will continue until Dec 31 and we are committed to ensuring all activities are done in an orderly fashion."
