KUALA TERENGGANU: A total of 3,047 residents are reported to still be affected by floods in Terengganu.

As of 8am, all victims from 814 families are housed in 37 temporary relief centres.

Currently, all districts are still affected by the floods except for Besut, which recovered from the disaster yesterday.

According to the report from the Terengganu State Disaster Management Secretariat, Dungun still records the highest number of victims, totaling 2,088 individuals from 558 families in 26 relief centres.

Furthermore, 132 victims (36 families) are in two relief centres in Kuala Terengganu, while 63 individuals from 14 families are sheltered in two relief centres in Kemaman.

The number of victims in Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Setiu, and Kuala Nerus remains constant this morning.

In Hulu Terengganu, 630 victims (176 families) are in three relief centres, and 91 victims (22 families) are in one relief centre in Marang.

Additionally, 37 victims (seven families) are in two relief centres in Setiu, while one relief centre is open in Kuala Nerus to accommodate six victims from one family.
