KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa confirmed today that former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been admitted to the hospital.
"I can only confirm his (Najib's) admission to the hospital. However, as for the details of his condition, treatment, and other matters, they are considered confidential, and I cannot disclose them.
"That's all that I can share," she said during a press conference held at the parliament building today.
Earlier today, it was reported that Najib has been admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) after he tested positive for Covid-19.
His special officer, Muhamad Mukhlis Maghribi, in a statement, confirmed that the former Pekan member of Parliament was rushed to the hospital after complaining of a fever on Tuesday.
