KUALA LUMPUR: A closed-circuit television recording of what is believed to be the final moments of the Beechcraft Model 390 before it crashed in Elmina, Shah Alam, has emerged.

In the dramatic footage, the aircraft appears to dive straight onto the highway, bursting into flames.

The 17-second footage taken at 2.49pm appears to have been recorded from a home security CCTV camera.

The search for the black box of the private jet which crashed in Elmina, Shah Alam today is ongoing, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

This was being done as initial investigations on the tragedy involving the Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) showed that the plane swerved to the right from its flight path prior to what happened.

Loke said the search for the black box was being conducted by the Air Accident Investigation Bureau, which will examine the device once it is found to establish the cause of the crash.
