KUALA LUMPUR: A factory which processes paint powder in Section 13, Petaling Jaya near here was razed in a fire early today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director, Morni Mamat said it received a distress call at 4.42am.
He said a 29-member team on 12 vehicles from the Fire and Rescue stations in Section 7, Penchala, Puchong, Subang, Kota Anggerik and Damansara were deployed to the location.
The fire was under control at 8.11am and the incident did not involve any injured victims.
"The department did not find any traces of chemical or hazardous material spills at the site of the fire," he said in a statement today.
