BERA: Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has described the forecasts independent bodies that BN is trailing in the15th General Election (15GE) as mere propaganda and psycholoigal war mounted by the opposition.
He said it cannot be considered as an accurate indicator because it is only used as a tool by the interested parties to mislead voters.
Ismail Sabri, who is the defending the Bera parliamentary seat, said even in the 14GE, no party could claim that they would win in the election.
"Don't be influenced because this is a psychological war of the opposition to influence voters on the fence.
"The people should not be easily fooled by such propaganda and continue to have faith in BN," he said in a press conference after attending the Mengkarak Station community programme here today.
He said those doing the forecast would definite be on the side of parties which paid them to do so.
"Do not be complacent (on the forecast) ... they have to work hard because even after GE14, there is no guarantee of a win," he said.
Several parties and independent bodies had announced that a survey conducted by them showed that BN would lose in GE-15, this Saturday.
On Tuesday, forecasts by think tanks and research centres were made viralled on which party will win the GE15.
Some have come out to stay that the forecasts were false.
