KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been behind bars for almost a week but he is still trending on social media, courtesy of his daughter Nooryana Najwa.

Most recently, Nooryana through her Instagram page @yananajib lamented how she could not bring herself to order from Starbucks as she knew her father must be missing his caramel macchiato drink.

Najib was sentenced to 12 years in prison for corruption and is currently incarcerated at the Kajang Prison.

Following her Instagram story shared yesterday, caramel macchiato made the trending list on Twitter.

One satirical Twitter page @theborneoghost posted: "Starbucks Metro Point Kajang today denies supplying Kajang Prison with Caramel Macchiato every afternoon."

The post has been retweeted over 1,200 times and garnered over 2,000 Likes.

Former Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNB) CEO Abdul Jalil Abdul Rasheed at @jalilword quipped, "Imagining sales of Caramel Macchiato to surge tomorrow."

Twitter user Harris Zainul at @harriszainul joked, "Just out of pure pettiness I'm gonna get a caramel macchiato tomorrow."

Nooryana, who called her father 'Bossku' in her Instagram story, also said that those who knew him, would know that he was a 'big foodie'.

"And as a daughter, I truly miss buying food and feeding him... I pray I can experience this once again," she posted.

Local writer Deborah Augustin offered her take at @dbgermane, saying, "No offense but you can't call yourself a foodie and order a caramel macchiato."
