KUALA LUMPUR: There is a KFC memory that resonates with everyone, as Malaysians grew up loving its world-renowned Finger Lickin' Good chicken.

This is no surprise as KFC has been in Malaysia for 49 years and with so many Malaysians growing up with the brand over the years, the shared love for KFC brings people together and helps create great moments.

To reignite the love shared by Malaysians for KFC, the company recently launched the "It's Finger Lickin' Good" campaign.

"I believe for most Malaysians, KFC means celebrations and a good time and a place to get-together with family and friends alike. The special aroma of our great-tasting world famous fried chicken is classic and evokes feelings of joy and happiness that spans generations. This is why we're launching the 'It's Finger Lickin' Good' campaign to reignite the love that was once enjoyed by even our parents and grandparents.

"Through this campaign, we are planning to engage with customers through various initiatives that will bring added value and customer satisfaction. We are committed to continue to be relevant to all Malaysians and to bring the nostalgia back to our nation's favourite fried chicken brand," said KFC Malaysia brand head Stephen Chew during the launch of the campaign at the KFC store at the Pavilion Shopping Centre last week.

Throughout the years, KFC Malaysia has experienced many highs and lows as a brand, with the last couple of years being especially challenging following the unprecedented pandemic and its economic after-effect.

To ensure customers have only the best quality chicken for a complete Finger Lickin' Good experience, KFC has rolled out a "Quality Taste Guaranteed" policy which allows customers to replace any chicken that they find unsatisfactory in quality in any way.

Customers can simply scan the unique QR code provided at the store, fill in and submit the replacement form, and present the "thank you" page at the counter to get a replacement.

KFC is also serving its brand new Jimat Siang meals for a limited time only. Jimat Siang provides even better value-for-money lunch combos, exclusively discounted from Monday until Thursday, between 12pm – 2pm from as low as RM7.99, available via Dine-in, Take Away and Drive-Thru at a majority of KFC stores nationwide.

The meals consist of KFC's iconic main and side menus and comes in six combo variations to select from:

(1) Snack Plate Combo at RM12.99 (normal price: RM15.49),

(2) Dinner Plate Combo at RM16.99 (normal price: RM19.60),

Meanwhile, KFC Malaysia is also the first food retailer to enter the blockchain market.

Inspired by Malaysians, made by Malaysians for Malaysians, KFC has collaborated with talented local artists Wilson Ng, Book of Lai, and Arif Rafhan Othman to produce 11 one-of-a-kind NFT artwork pieces in honor of KFC's secret recipe blend of 11 herbs and spices.

Eight of these exclusive KFC NFTs - Original KFC Moments were put up for bidding at OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace, while the remaining three NFTs can be won by participating in a social contest on KFC's Instagram page @kfcmalaysia.
