KUALA LUMPUR: Fakhrudeen Ali Husin from Klang and Norhizwana Moh from Kajang won wallpaper worth RM15,000 each from Lamex WallCoverings in the Lamex Wallpaper Contest, which was held between Jan 6 and 26.
Retail Operation Lamex WallCoverings manager Dian Kharisma announced the two winners here recently, adding that its decision to collaborate with the New Straits Times Press (NSTP) to hold such a contest was to attract NST readers and create brand awareness.
The two winners will each get eight rolls of wallpaper for home makeover from Lamex WallCoverings.
Kharisma said Lamex WallCoverings wallpapers had thousands of designs from its 15 wallpaper collections and the company also provided wallpaper installation at various premises including restaurants, hotels and hospitals.
Lamex WallCoverings, she said, had just released a new collection called "CYBER XI" and expected to release another three collections this year.
The company, she said, exported wallpaper to other countries including the Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan and Maldives.
NSTP Subscription and Trade Marketing amanager Tengku Kaifimirza Tuan Cherit later said organising such a contest was to boost the newspapers sales.
"It is also to show our appreciation to existing readers and the new ones," he said.
