KUALA LUMPUR: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) yesterday launched the Click, Pay and Earn 2022 campaign.
The campaign, which will run until April 30, is to encourage and facilitate PTPTN borrowers to perform online loan repayments through e-wallets offered via Shopee, BESTPay and SpayGlobal (SarawakPay).
PTPTN chief executive officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid in a statement today said the collaboration with these e-wallet platforms was one of the efforts by PTPTN to cultivate digital payment among PTPTN borrowers, and get themselves rewarded at the same time.
"The campaign is to encourage PTPTN borrowers to use cashless transactions for their online payments. Borrowers who repay their loan instalments via these e-wallets are qualified for some rewards offered throughout this campaign," he said.
The statement also said that each day throughout the campaign, the first 30 payers who paid a minimum amount of RM100 via ShopeePay would be entitled to a RM5 Shopee discount voucher for its app usage.
"The first 30 payers with a minimum amount of RM100 payment via BESTPay 1-hour Happy Hour slot are qualified for 5 BP credits, each day. The time for the slot will be chosen randomly between 10am to 10pm throughout the campaign.
"Meanwhile the first 100 payers who paid a minimum amount of RM10 via SpayGlobal (SarawakPay) are qualified for RM2 vouchers, each month," the statement read.
