KUALA LUMPUR: PTPTN's Gong Xi Ang Pow 2022 campaign returns with various attractive prizes to be won.
With the tagline "Gong Xi Simpan, Kongsi Ong! Hari-Hari Mesti Mau Simpan Tau!", this campaign symbolises excitment and love during Chinese New Year. It is also a sign of PTPTN's appreciation of its loyal depositors who choose to save with Simpan SSPN.
PTPTN chief executive Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said the Gong Xi Ang Pow 2022 campaign was being held at state levels and depositors stood a chance to win an overall prize worth almost RM100,000.
This is a special campaign that encourages Malaysians to open accounts or add additional savings in Simpan SSPN, and would run until Feb 15.
A total of 112 winners stand a chance to win attractive prizes and each state will be offering prizes such as a 50" 4K Smart TV, High Pressure Cookers, Foldable Bicycles, and a cash prize "Ang Pow" worth RM388.
"The Gong Xi Ang Pow 2022 campaign is also open to existing depositors with a Simpan SSPN account. As for new depositors, they are required to open an account or increase the amount of savings during the promotional period.
"The number of draws is based on each net savings worth RM50, where every RM50 equals to one draw and there is no limitation on the amount of draws," he said.
Depositors must ensure that their account remains active and no withdrawals are to be made during the retention period from Feb 16 to March 31.
Dasuki said besides the attractive prizes, Simpan SSPN also offers various other advantages and benefits to depositors, especially parents.
"Simpan SSPN offers two packages, Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus, which are affordable and they offer various benefits to parents.
"When they deposit with Simpan SSPN Prime, parents get to enjoy tax relief up to RM8,000 for net savings, competitive dividend rates as well as free takaful coverage Ringgit for Ringgit for depositors whose savings reach RM1,000 and above.
"Furthermore, a grant of up to RM10,000 will be offered to families who are eligible, including depositors with a home income not exceeding RM4,000 a month."
Families who are eligible will receive the grant as a stepping stone to support their children's needs during their tertiary education. Their children will also be eligible to apply for a PTPTN loan.
As for Simpan SSPN Plus, depositors will enjoy privileges such as Syariah-compliant products, commitment as low as RM30 per month, tax relief on net year current savings up to RM8,000 per year, competitive dividend rates, critical disease benefits and depositors are eligible to apply for a PTPTN loan.
When saving with Simpan SSPN Plus, depositors will also receive additional privileges such as takaful coverage that should be attained by all Malaysians as the best savings plan for children.
With up to RM1.2 million of takaful coverage, the three options of takaful operators are Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad, Great Eastern Takaful and Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad.
