KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu City Mall (DBKK) is aiming at inoculating all city folks with at least the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip said to reach the target, the local authority would roll out a three-day walk-in vaccination programme starting tomorrow.
The programme will be held at Padang Merdeka, which is the venue for the the state-level National Day celebration annually.
"DBKK invites all city dwellers who have yet to be vaccinated to come to Padang Merdeka on Aug 30, 31 and Sept 1.
"The Kota Kinabalu Vaccination Programme will start as early as 8.30am until 4.30pm," she said in a statement.
Noorliza also urged everyone who planned to turn up for the vaccination programme to adhere to the standard operating procedures so that the vaccination process could be done fast and smoothly.
On Saturday, Sabah recorded 2,834 Covid-19 cases and the state capital contributed more than 600 cases to the state's daily new cases.
As for vaccination, 36.47 per cent of the adult population in Sabah were fully inoculated.
